1. How can I get my company involved in the CCRS?
- Review the information on this website. Click the buttons along the left side to see useful information like Reasons to Participate and Participating Companies.
- Your company needs a team captain. Anyone can be this captain - you can do it!
- Each company will want to handle their team startup in whatever way is appropriate in their corporate structure. Possible places to start are with your company's human resources, employee benefits, or community relations departments. Share the information about the CCRS with these departments at your company. Show them the website.
- Contact runners in your company that may already be entering these races. The CCRS does not require corporate sponsorship of teams. You and your coworkers can enter as a company team in any CCRS event.
- Start at the top - get your CEO involved! Ask your CEO to look at this website, especially the section on "Why Participate?".
- If you have additional questions or just want to talk to someone in person, contact Larry Wallace at lwallace@umpublishing.org.

9. Are there special awards for corporate teams?
- Yes. The exact number of awards given depends on the number of teams entered in the event.
- Teams that place are given plaques that they can proudly display in their company trophy case. If there are 15 teams entered, plaques would be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of 5 divisons for a total of 15 awards.
- The individual "scoring" runners on each team for each place receive medals with ribbons.
